Sergio Garcia and his Fireballs GC claim victory in a double playoff at LIV Andalucía!

Anirban Lahiri had a four shot leading heading into the final round, five over Sergio Garcia. That had dwindled down to just one shot by the 18th green, where he had a short putt to win his first LIV event, and give Crushers GC the team win.

Painfully, he pulled the short putt wide and there was both a team and individual playoff. With Bryson making a bogey on the first hole, Fireballs GC claimed the team victory. Lahiri did the same on the second playoff hole, and Sergio Garcia won with a par.

His home country, his favorite course in the world, his first LIV Golf win, congratulations to Sergio and his Fireballs GC!

Harry Hall chips in on the third playoff hole for his first PGA Tour victory at the ISCO Championship!

Harry Hall’s final round of 3 under was enough for him to sneak into a five man playoff with Matt NeSmith, Zac Blair, Pierceson Coody, and Rico Hoey. After NeSmith, Coody, and Hall matched pars on the first two holes, they headed to the 9th, a long par 3.

All three missed the green off the tee, but Harry Hall hit a fantastic chip that rolled perfectly into the hole, and securing him his first PGA Tour victory.

Congratulations to Harry Hall!

Bob MacIntyre stays hot, winning the Genesis Scottish Open!

After what has proven to be a very controversial ruling on the 16th hole where Bob MacIntyre received relief from a sprinkler head in the thick rough, MacIntyre made eagle, and then birdied 18 to win the Genesis Scottish Open by one stroke over Adam Scott.

While taking practice swings, MacIntyre uncovered a sprinkler head in an area where no one would expect it to be. Some controversy surrounding this as his lie after taking releif was far better than his original. Additionally, there is a fair argument that he uncovered the sprinkler head when taking practice swings, and had he not taken those swings in that spot (the spot where his stance would be for the actual shot) he never would have known about it.

Regardless, he was given the drop per the rules, capitalized on the moment, and won the Genesis Scottish Open!

Congratulations to Robert MacIntyre, incredible to see him win his home countries national open!
