Peter Uihlein pulls away from the pack at International Series England!
After a strong first three rounds which included a second round 61 (new course record), Peter Uihlein led the International Series England event by one shot heading into the final round. Harold Varner III, Richard Bland, Caleb Surratt, and Richard Lee were all within three shots of him.
Unfortunately for them, Uihlein brought his A game on Sunday and finished the tournament with six birdies and an eagle for a final round of 63. While he only had a one shot lead after the first 9 holes of the final round, he would end up winning by seven strokes!
This is Peter’s fourth win as a professional and first on the Asian Tour, congratulations to him!

Matt Kuchar drags the Wyndham to a Monday finish for Aaron Rai’s first PGA Tour Victory
Another weather affected event on the tour this week resulted in all but one player playing 72 holes in three days. Matt Kuchar was only able to get through 71 and a half before marking his ball and deciding to come back Monday morning to finish up. A move he would take a lot of criticism for as it meant media, volunteers, and other tournament staff would have to return to the course for him to hit three golf shots and finish T12.
During the majority of the Sunday round this event looked like it was firmly in the grasp of Max Greyserman. He opened with four under on the front nine and maintained his two shot lead over Aaron Rai, before finding a quite unique way to play a four hole stretch at three over par:
Holed out for eagle on the par 4 13th
Quad bogey (8) on the par 4 14th
Birdie on the par 5 15th
Double bogey on the par 3 16th
Meanwhile Aaron Rai birdied the 12th and remained steady, making another birdie on 18 to win by two shots over Max Greyserman for his first PGA Tour victory!
Congratulations Aaron Rai!
