Asian Tour
A five shot victory for Peter Uihlein at the International Series Qatar!

After taking the lead midway through the second round in Qatar, Peter Uihlein never looked back as he secures his second win in the International Series this year. He was also the winner at the International Series England where he won by seven strokes over Andy Sullivan. His triumph this weekend was by a mere five strokes over Charl Schwartzel.

After impressive opening rounds of 68-64, Peter was able to coast to a comfortable victory, though in quite windy conditions, with a weekend of 71-69 where he only missed a handful of greens.

With this win Uihlein jumps into the lead in the International Series Order of Merit with John Catlin and Ben Campbell trailing not far behind.

Congratulations Peter Uihlein!

This week on the Asian Tour:

This week’s Asian Tour event is the final event of the season and for those chasing the coveted LIV Golf exemption through the International Series, the most important.

The PIF Saudi International is the final event of the International Series and awards significantly more points than any other event this season.

DP World Tour
In just his second ever DP World Tour event, Ryggs Johnston wins the ISPS HANDA Australian Open!

Just weeks ago Ryggs Johnston made it through the final stage of DP World Tour Q School and earned his membership on the tour. Now, he’s a winner of one of the tour’s biggest events.

I turned up pretty tired from all the travel and Q-School and everything. Didn’t get a practice here with the weather. I didn’t really have any expectations, which probably helped me in the end

Ryggs Johnston after his win at the Australian Open

Through three rounds he’d find himself tied for the lead with one of the local favorites, Lucas Herbert. An eagle on the first hole gave Ryggs some confidence and calmed the nerves a bit, though he’d still make the turn in a three way tie with Herbert and another local, Curtis Luck.

While Herbert struggled on the back, Ryggs’ birdies on 10, 14, and 15 gave him a one shot lead over Luck. Pars the rest of the way would be enough to get the job done, as Luck would bogey his last two holes, resulting in a three shot win for Ryggs!

This marks the first win for an American at the ISPS Handa Australian since Jordan Spieth in 2016.

Congratulations to Ryggs Johnston!

This week on the DP World Tour:

The opening swing of the 2025 season continues this week as the tour heads to South Africa for the Nedbank Golf Challenge at Gary Player CC in Sun City. Max Homa was the winner here last year, and he’ll be in the field looking to defend. Among those joining him are Will Zalatoris, Corey Conners, Thomas Detry, and South African Christian Bezuidenhout!
