Sepp Straka gets his third at the American Express!
Fortunately Sepp Straka had built himself a nice little buffer as he made the turn on Sunday as some nerves crept in late in the round. He started the day with a four stroke lead over Jason Day, Justin Lower, and Charley Hoffman, and would maintain that through 9 holes in the final round after opening with a 33.
A couple of late bogeys, on 16 and 18 proved to be meaningless because he started the round off so strong. He’d go on to post 65-64-64-70 to claim his third PGA Tour victory. Had he not bogeyed those two holes late, he’d have his name etched in the history books as the fourth player to win without making a single bogey. An unfortunate nervy finish for him but a testament to how strong he was playing throughout the tournament!
Congratulations to Sepp Straka!

Tyrrell Hatton maintains his tremendous form and wins the Hero Desert Dubai Classic!
He started one shot back of the lead on Sunday and after a nervy third round where he mentioned he wasn’t feeling at all comfortable over the ball, Tyrrell Hatton cars a 69 in the final round of the Hero Desert Dubai Classic to claim his fifth Rolex Series victory and maintain his tremendous form!
A text message and a solid warmup session helped calm his nerves and allow him to focus on taking the final round one shot at a time.
It’s the little things.
After the conclusion of Tyrrell Hatton’s third round at the Desert Dubai Classic, despite finding himself just one shot back of leader Daniel Hiller, said he said he wasn’t feeling comfortable over the ball.
